Seventy-five kilometers from Thane, scattered on a mountain range, is a cluster of tribal hamlets. In the main village of Dolkhamb, Abraham and his wife Hannah oversee various community programs. Abraham has been trained to provide basic health care and education. He is able to diagnose and treat common medical problems. However, if further consultation is required, patients are referred to Bethany Hospital.
Medical camps are organized by the Bethany Trust at the villages around Dolkhamb where doctors and health personnel go up to the mountainous villages and offer medical care.
